Drinking games to play with friends

Classics that always work

Never Have I Ever
Someone says something they’ve never done (“Never have I ever failed a driving test”). Anyone who has, drinks. Great with people who half know each other — the stories come out.
Most Likely To
Someone asks “Who’s most likely to fall asleep at the party?” and everyone points at once. You take a sip for every finger pointing at you.
Truth or Dare
Each player picks a question to answer honestly or a dare to do. Refuse and you drink. Agree on limits before you start.
Kings (Ring of Fire)
A card game where each card has a rule: waterfall, make a rule, pick a mate… Desfasa2 takes the same idea and turns every card into its own mini-game.
Waterfall
Everyone starts drinking in turn and nobody can stop until the person before them does. Short, intense and perfect early in the night.
The Impostor (The Spy)
Everyone gets the same secret word except one player, the spy. Take turns saying related words without giving it away, then vote. Get it wrong and everyone but the spy drinks.

How to pick a drinking game

  • Group that doesn’t know each other well: light question games like Most Likely To break the ice without awkwardness.
  • Big group (8+): fast games everyone plays at once, like Waterfall or Medusa, so nobody sits out.
  • Small group: short turns and individual challenges, like Higher or Lower or tongue twisters.
  • Want variety: a card game where each card is a different mini-game, so you’re not repeating the same thing all night.

Desfasa2: lots of games in one deck

Desfasa2 puts mini-games into a single deck: each card you draw is a different one, from a tongue twister to a rule that lasts all game, plus The Spy, played by passing the phone around like an impostor app. Free to play on your phone, no download.

See every card and how to play it, or check out our party games if you’d rather skip the alcohol.

Drink responsibly

Drinking games are for adults only, and the point is to play, not to overdo it. Keep sips small, have water around and let anyone swap to a soft drink whenever they want. Never drink and drive.
